Hey there readers!
Last week 5/4/12 to 7/4/12 I was not around thats why I did not touch my blog! (sorry about that >.<) I was in Melaka actually. If you dont know where it is, its located in Malaysia :D
I took the bus with my girlfriend and with her sister! Thanks to Uncle Kwong who took me to TBS (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan) at Cheras. The bus station totally look like a small KLIA. Everything is like so,NEW!
The journey took about 2hours (approxiamtely) and as usual, I slept in the bus although some random dude is sitting next to me. The bus seems qukite comfortable and the good part is, IT IS VERY CLEAN! *THUMBS UP*
Here is the Agenda.
Day 1
We arrived Melaka about 4pm. The bus stopped at Melaka Sentral. And guess what? U-Mobile dont have any 3G line in Melaka. So, Foursquare and Emails, no synching, and I FELT SAD! Girlfirend mommy picked us up form the station and brought us to her place. A surprise item made girlfriend felt so surprised which was her "The New iPad". To be honest, it looked AWESOME! We had dinner at a restaurant where we had crabs, prawns and so on. We all thought the food was quite pricy though xD We went to Jusco after dinner, walked around and I realised all Jusco do look the same inside.
Day 2
Girlfriend mom brought us (me,girlfriend and her sister) to a Nyonya restaurant. The place looks quite antique. Interir is not bright where its dimmed, the surrounding seems so quiet (i think thats Melaka lifestyle?) I wasn't a Vege-Eater so Aunty called a Ginger Sauce Meat Rice (chinese you call it as Kiong Chong Yok Fan) and it tasted good! The rest of them, they ate the stall famous "Cai Xin Fan" where the presentation of the dish is simple, but the aroma is VERY THE GOOD! We went touring around after having the meal, and my first time landing my feet at Dataran Pahlawan. The mall is big. As for now year 2012, thats the biggest mall in Melaka. The mall seems very occupied but some part of the mall, it seems so empty. It all depends on the Feng Shui (as what all Chinese people believes; including myself). We watched a movie, a very nice Singapore Movie which titled We Not Naughty. The story line was awesome, and there is a moral value from the movie. I dont want to be a spoiler to those who did not catch it yet, so head yourself to the cinema, and watch it! :) After the movie, we all were shivering due to the coldness in the cinema where we all felt we were in a FREEZER! Imagine yourself, in a freezer for about 1hour, thats how cold we felt. We came out with our body getting numb. As for me, I CAN'T FEEL MY FEET! We had Western Food for dinner at Amigo (the restaurant name, not brother). Something special about this Western Food though, usually when you order Chicken Chop, theb gravy will be poured into the plate on top of the chop, and being serve to you, right? But the ones I had in Melaka, the gravy you pour yourself. The chop is put on a hot plate, and when the gravy pours down and hits the plate, a smoke filled with black pepper aroma can be smelled and makes you feel like eating it A.S.A.P! Yeap,thats how delicious it is!
Day 3
The time about to leave the city. Last minute packing by all of us because we K.O due to the tireness and the walkings. We weren't like cats and dogs fixing our bags, we just remined calm. *Inner Peaceeeeeee* We left the house and we went back to the Nyonya restaurat for breakfast, and this time, I ATE THE CAI XIN FAN! The taste is sooooooooo DELICIOUS! The gravy is the magic for the DELICIOUS TASTE! After breakfast, Aunty spent me a Mango Layered Cake which tasted DELICIOUS! The cake was freshly baked, without preservative and it was highly recommended to consume within a day! The cream of each layer in the cake was delicious, the layer covering the cake was a thin Crepe style which made it even more awesome!
Right after getting the cake, we departed in my girlfriend Moms' car, and headed back to kuala Lumpur.
That's what happened when I was in Melaka. Its a very good experience as for I got to experience some new food!
One last thing, I got a quote to all of you. Whenever you feel Negative, always in the bad side, think POSITIVE! *Adapted from We Not Naughty, 2012)
