The Samsung S4 launch!

Today is the official launch for the Samsung Galaxy S4 in Malaysia. The event took place in Low Yat Plaza, started off at 12pm.

There were so many people attended the event! The whole main entrance was packed with people. The launch of the phone was entertaining as well. They had the clowns and entertainers grooving and jumping around, and marching bands drumming the drums loud!

The VIP guest arrived with style! Came down from their car, and photographer’s rush towards them and trying to get a photo! My view got blocked by them (the photographers), I think they just did not realize I’m behind them and wanting to get a photo as well! I found my way through, and managed to grab a photo of the VIP’s officiating the launch!

Prem from FlyFM was the emcee for the launch. Here comes the phone! The phone was amazingly awesome! It was great to get to test out the phone in the Samsung Truck where all the phones are inside it. The only color they had for us to review was the white although I was expecting for the black ones. Okay, stay on track John! The phone features were so advance. Samsung took the whole Galaxy S4 into a newer level. The phone now has a 5 inch AMOLED screen which gives the user a HD display and also a micro SD slot that allows user to upgrade the memory space to 16GB – 32GB.

Besides that, the one feature I want to highlight here is the Smart Screen feature where it can be found in the setting. Although we all know Samsung is not the first phone with front camera in front, but the Smart Screen features like Smart Stay, Smart Rotation, Smart Scroll and Smart Pause are the features that are available only in the Samsung Smartphones! Let me brag about the 4 features,

Smart Stay

Smart Stay is a feature that makes the screen stay as long your eyes are on it. This feature is already available in the Samsung Galaxy S3. What this features do is, it will not make the LCD screen to blackout (sleep) when you’re looking at it.

Smart Rotation

Smart Rotation is one cool features! It basically orientate adjust the screen to your angle. Other smartphones will rotate its screen 90’ clockwise or anti clockwise when the phone is in landscape position. But with the Smart Rotation, it basically rotates the screen based on how you rotate your phone!

Smart Scroll

I personally think that Smart Scroll is one great feature for readers! What is so cool about this feature? When you are reading an article; just say its form the Internet, if you want to scroll pages up and down, it requires your finger to scroll. But with the Samsung Smart Scroll, it doesn’t require your finger to scroll pages anymore! Just tilt your head, up and down, and the page will be scroll up and down!

Smart Pause

To all video junkies out there who likes to stream videos through your mobile phones, this feature is just for you! The Smart Pause feature basically pause your video when you’re not looking on the screen while you’re streaming a video. How does this work? It’s IMPOSSIBLE! Its possible, the front camera has a sensor. It basically senses your retina. If it doesn’t sense your retina, the video pauses. And if senses your retina, it will un-pause your video and you can continue to stream your video! Cool huh? J

For me to write down all the features will take forever. You should go and try out the phone, and enjoy all the new feature that you never expect what a phone can do.

If you want to upgrade your phone, I recommend you to upgrade to this phone because this phone is one awesome phone (till date).
