Beauty and the beast. 

I think all you people who were born in between the 1980's and 1990's will know that song. If you don't, let me give you a recall of that lyrics. Its the song for Beauty and the Beast by Disney. If you didn't watch it before, go and watch it! Pure classic movie!

Beauty and the Beast is not only the classic disney movie, there are others like Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Hunchback of Norte Dame, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and so on. Like I said, its a classic "Disney" movie. Where can you see real life people from this characters? DISNEYLAND FOR SURE!

To Disneyland!!!
I was so excited for this trip! I know this Hong Kong Disneyland is not as big as the one in California, but still, it's Disneyland! We woke up early in the morning like 7.30am, prepared ourself and boom! Head down to Disneyland!

We arrived Disneyland about 10am, it's not that far from Tsim Tsa Tsui (about 15-20mins drive). I did not managed to take picture of the signboard on the highway which has Mickey Mouse head to symbolise Disneyland! Okay, now with Disneyland!

When the small little bus stopped ( we did not take the MTR because we did not want to squeeze with other people ), first step on the Disneyland floor, I WAS SMILING ALL THE WAY! I did not bother what the people around me (Hongkee and Mainlanders) think about me because I'm acting a little childish. It's Disneyland dude, you live your childhood again no matter how old you are!




The que wasn't that long. Within 3 minutes, I reach the ticketing counter. Pass my ticket to the staff and the lady greeted me "Welcome to Disneyland, have a magical day!". As you pass the ticketing, you will first see the main Train Station in Disneyland which has a Mickey face on it. Then after that, you will see Mainstreet USA!

Mainstreet USA
In Mainstreet USA, you will see shops everywhere. It's basically a shopping area for people like me to do CRAZY SHOPPING! You can get crystal mickey design, Disneyland shirts, soft toys and action figure here! Oh my goshhh!!! I feel like going back there again! Besides shopping, the Disney Parade will pass through Mainstreet USA also. I was lucky enough to witness the Water Parade whereby you will get wet during the parade show! One more thing, you will get to see, the view of Sleeping Beauty Castle when you stand in the middle. A nice full view of the castle! In the night with fireworks, it just look......BEAUTIFUL!

Tomorrowland
Next, it's the Tomorrowland! Not the Belgium Tomorrowland, the Disneyland Tomorrowland! What's nice in there? SPACE MOUNTAIN! My family and I managed to get a ride in the Space Mountain. Mom wasn't interested on the ride because she thinks its scary. So I tricked her, and she went inside with us. Right before you enter the shuttle, there's a sign warning you that "This is your last chance to exit". My mom saw it, scolded me all the way until we sat down on the shuttle. I sat the most front with my uncle, then dad and sister, and mom and my eldest sister. THIS RIDE WAS AMAZINGLY FUN! the design of the ride makes you think you're a spaceman going into space, travelling around galaxy! One amazing fun part is they will snap a picture of your reaction! Mom had the MOST EPIC REACTION WITH MY ELDEST SISTER!


No pictures/videos were taken during the ride. It was too extreme.

After the ride, we exit through the Space Traders. That's when my sister bought the picture of us riding the Space Mountain and also, me buying a Stitch hat and pillow! Heading down to Fantasyland, I bumped into Stitch! He was so touched to see me wearing the Stitch Hat and also holding the Stitch Pillow!

Fantasyland
After that we headed down to The Golden Mickey! Golden Mickey is basically like a Grammy Award show. Wait, slightly the same but different! They actually have nominations like best romance movie and so on. THIS IS ONE SHOW YOU CANNOT MISS! Why? If you love Disney classic cartoons, you will love The Golden Mickey because they have live performance for Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, Lilo and Stitch etc. Besides, you will get to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy with their Golden colour costume!! The best part of the show is during Beauty and the Beast, the Beast will transform into a Price just like the cartoon!


Done with The Golden Mickey, we headed down to It's A Small Small World. In this ride, you got to sit a small little boat which will bring you around the place. This place is unique though, it has a lot of small little moving dolls (it sounds scary but its not) and they all singing the song "It's a small world afterall"... Heheh! Also, the dolls dress differently according to the country and also the music, like India they play the song with a Sitar! Oh ya, I feel very BIG there! Haha!


Tummy got hungry. Hehe, so we went to this place in Fantasyland called Clopin Festival of Food to grab some food. The food we had is the pork chop noodle. The noodle was too soft. Maybe they over boiled the noodle. But the soup and the pork chop tasted yummy! The portion of the food is biiiggggg!

Right after the meal, we head down to Sleeping Beauty Castle and heading to Adventureland. While heading to Adventureland, guess who we saw? Aurora and Rapunzel! They looked just like the cartoon! With the princess outfit and Rapunzel really has a super loooong hair!

Adventureland
This is the place where you will find Lion King and Tarzan. I did not go to the Lion King area because I want to witness the water parade. But Uncle Kwong, and my 2 sisters went and witness the show! In this land, the most interesting part goes to Tarzan! It was unique for Disneyland to build the Tarzan House in the park! The exact 1:1 house! It was a great experience to get to the house because we need to sit a boat to the house, climb a little to reach the top! When you first enter the house after climbing, you will see the Leopard (who wants to eat Baby Tarzan). Then as you walk pass there, you will see baby tarzan in a cradle hanging on the tree. After that you will see Tarzan's "not real" mom, and his real parents picture and then, the mature Tarzan with Jane! I  just can't really describe how amazing the feeling when you get to go into a house where you think it's just only in the cartoon but you're actually in it.



Grizzly Gulch
This is also sort of a new attraction in Hong Kong Disneyland. When you enter this land, you will see houses that look so western-ish. Like a cowboy town. The main attraction of this place is the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars ride. Another roller coaster ride in Disneyland! I did not manage to ride this one because the waiting time is 1 FREAKING HOUR! Therefore I skipped the rides here T.T

 Mystic Point
This is the newest attraction in Hong Kong Disneyland (opened on April/May 2013)! They say this attraction can only be found in Hong Kong Disneyland! Therefore, no matter how long you need to wait, YOU NEED TO GET A RIDE IN THIS MANOR! The story goes like this. Lord Henry Mystic is an explorer, he finds relics and so on with his monkey, Albert. One day, Albert got so curious on the musical box Lord Henry found. It is being said that once the musical box is activated, everything comes to life! So in Lord Henry's manor (Mystic Manor), Albert unleashed the power of the musical box, EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE COMES TO LIFE! If you're in Hong Kong Disneyland now or planning to go there soon, make sure to check out the Mystic Manor!


Back to Adventureland and Mainstreet USA 
Right after Mystic Point, we went our own separate ways. Sister and Uncle went for the Festival of Lion King, Dad, Mom and I went for the water parade. It is sad to see that I am only able to catch the Toy Story parade only because I arrived late :( At least I got to witness the parade! Sister and Uncle said the Lion King show is gooooooood!

NO TOY STORY LAND!
NOOOOO!!!!! I DID NOT MANAGED TO STEP FOOT INTO TOY STORY LAND! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Sorry people, I didn't manage to get there because of timing issue. Sort of like regretted, that I did not step foot into Andy's toy house! No story for this land! :'(

Enchanted Garden
For now, bye Disneyland and hello Enchanted Garden! Remember to tell the Disney staff that you are returning to Disneyland later in the evening! If not, you will not be able to get in again! Enchanted Garden is located in Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. Why were we there? To have dinner of course! Also, to celebrate my eldest sister birthday! People were lining up in Disneyland to take picture with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto. Whereas for us, we dont need to join the line! The characters came to our table and greeted us, as well took picture with us! The food they served is International Buffet, and here is the birthday cake!

We also had a lot of family shots, as well solo shots with the Disney characters!

So at night in Disneyland, really it is very pretty. Wait, lack of one more thing, the FIREWORKS! I can tell you this is the best fireworks I ever seen in my life! Why? Look at the video! It's 11 minutes long, and a shakey take *hand gone tired and numb*. Taken by my Samsung S4!




Bye Disneyland
So that marks the end of my Disney tour! I will really miss that place and hope to go to Disneyland again! Seriously, I am missing you now!! T.T Not only me, my mom, dad, Uncle Kwong, Sis Jean and Sis Jelaine misses you too!

Goodbye Disneyland, I sure will miss you.


Extra's: Don't wear thick clothes, its freaking hot there. Put sunblock if you don't wanna be tanned. Bring water to quench your thirst! Beware of mainlanders, they push you and jump que without borthering your existence. One day pass is not enough to sit all the rides, plan properly before hand! Lastly, be childish and don't give a damn on what people think about you!
